A simple yearly visit that sweeps, inspects and photographs your chimney, with reminders so nothing gets missed.
A chimney needs a little attention every year, and most of us forget. A yearly visit catches small problems when they are inexpensive to fix: a hairline crack in the crown, a loose cap, a stuck damper or a layer of creosote that needs sweeping. It also keeps your fireplace ready for the first cold night instead of leaving you to find a problem then.
Our maintenance plan is simple. We visit once a year at a time that suits you, sweep the chimney, inspect the parts we can see and photograph anything of note. You get a short written summary and a reminder when the next visit is due. If you want repairs, we can do them, and if you prefer to handle some tasks yourself, we explain how.
A sweep of the flue and firebox, an inspection of the crown, cap, flashing and masonry and a check of the damper and the fireplace.
You get dated photos and a short summary useful for your records and for future buyers or insurers.
We separate urgent safety items from repairs to plan and things to watch, so you can decide what to do and when.
We remind you when the next visit is coming up, so the chimney never goes unchecked and you never have to remember.
At a time that suits you.
