Chimney sweep tools laid out neatly in front of a clean brick fireplace in a warm living room: a round wire chimney brush, fiberglass rods, a drop cloth and a shop vacuum
How we work

Six steps from first call to a safe, clean chimney.

A clear, unhurried process that keeps you informed and in control.

The journey

What happens, and when.

  1. A smartphone with a blank dark screen on a table beside a coffee mug and a small red brick in soft warm light
    01

    Call and schedule

You tell us about the chimney, fireplace or stove and what you have noticed, and we set a visit that fits your day.

  2. An inspection flashlight and a small mirror resting on the hearth in front of an open brick fireplace in bright light
    02

    Inspect and listen

We look closely at the chimney, inside and out, ask how you use it and take photos of anything of note.

  3. A clipboard with a blank sheet, a tape measure and a pencil on a kitchen counter beside a brick sample in bright light
    03

    Plan and explain

We explain what is urgent, what can wait and what is optional, and give you a written scope and options.

  4. A drop cloth spread over a hardwood floor in front of a brick fireplace with a shop vacuum hose ready in bright light
    04

    Protect your home

We lay drop cloths, seal the firebox and protect the roof and landscaping before any work begins.

  5. A round wire chimney brush on fiberglass rods being fed up into a clean brick fireplace opening in bright light
    05

    Do the work

We sweep, repair or install with the right tools and materials, checking our work as we go.

  6. A spotless swept brick fireplace with a tidy hearth and a fresh stack of logs ready to light in warm light
    06

    Finish and walk through

We clean up, show you what we did, share tips and set a reminder for your next visit.

Timing

How long does it take?

How long does a typical project take?

A sweep or inspection usually takes an hour or two. Repairs, liners and installations take a day or more, and parts or approvals can add time. We give you a schedule with your written scope.

Do I need to be home?

It helps to be there for the visit and the final walk-through, and we keep you posted by phone or message in between. Please keep children and pets away from tools and ladders.

What should I do before installation?

Clear a path to the fireplace, move small furniture and rugs back from the hearth and tell us about pets and your association. We protect the rest and handle drawings and approvals coordination with you.
